How to Configure DNS, Gateway & Socks
Setting Up DNS
- on the WinProxy computer.
- in the WinProxy application.
- on the client computer. There are two ways to setup DNS on your client computer. How DNS is to be configured depends on whether the client computer is set to "Specify an IP address" or set to "Obtain an IP address automatically". Select the configuration that applies to your client computer:

- on the WinProxy computer. The default gateway should be left blank on the internal network card of the WinProxy computer.
- on the client computer. Select the configuration that applies to your client computer:
Enabling Socks within WinProxy

In WinProxy,
- Click on File -> Settings -> Protocols.
- Check the box next to Socks, then click OK.
